She came to me on Sunday and confessed she planned to murder someone this week. My boon was one that let me borrow someone else's, so I borrowed the obsession boon and gave her an obsession on Thursday night not to let anyone die. She woke up as planned to go kill Grace, but the obsession wouldn't allow her to go through with it, so she returned to sleep.
Apparently, this place does not like it if you back out of a planned murder, so the burns placed on her were a response to that. She didn't kill Eleanor; she was deemed guilty because she'd intended to kill Grace.
Mm. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. Emotions aren't clean cut, and I think you can feel bad but still not regret what you've done. You just seem like someone who's very decisive.

It doesn't sit well with me, that I played a role in her death, but playing a role in Grace's death wouldn't have sat with me either. She shouldn't have involved me. Since she did, I had to act on what I thought best.

It seemed like you tried to minimize damage where you could. You could have chosen to give her any other type of obsession to deter her but chose one to not let anyone die.

I couldn't have, so it is an irrelevant question. I did try, but she didn't want to live anymore if she didn't succeed, and she felt like she was not likely to succeed here without taking the risk. And I do understand that, I suppose.
She had the ambition, but not the intelligence. [Rude.] Every step of her plan was a mistake. From telling me in the first place, to cursing me five minutes after she ought to have.
