The investigations taking so long is also a problem... it took us almost until the end of trial to even be able to look at Steven. And then we didn't find some locations until the very end.
[ he folds his arms over his chest. ]
We could be missing giant pieces of the puzzles until the last five minutes for all we know.
Honestly? We have a lot of people who are good at taking charge. Even if we get off topic, there are surprisingly quite a few competent people when it comes to organizing.
The problem is just that... we either get too focused on one thing, or we have nothing to even focus on.
We really don't want a repeat of the chocolate fiasco. [ But this time... croissants. ] I don't think there's much to be done about when we have nothing to focus on, though. Unless when people go on investigations in groups, one of them can come back from the middle of it with something they've found to spring some discussion.
Like an in progress check?
[ Like how Gu Yun came back when Mineo didn't but less panicked and hurried and more planned. ]
I don't think I'm being nice. But I can tell when people are actually trying to do work, so I can't say they're doing nothing.
[ sasazuka can be extremely mean, but he values people doing good work and trying. ]
Or some way for us to be able to keep in conta-- wait.
[ oh my fucking god ]
We have phones. We can just text the updates.
[ while i was writing this tag i ran to the mods to double check to see if we can do this and we can so i'm just in tears right now. i am going to toplevel tomorrow calling us stupid now. ]
[ he says this, but he's kind of a workaholic so admittedly it will be very difficult for him to remotely relax when there's unsolved murders but it's fine. ]

[ She hums thoughtfully. ]
We just need to find a way to be able to narrow down suspects or corner people more.

[ She puts her hands on her hips. ]
It almost looked like the Avatars were getting tired and taking pity of us at the end with the way Gu Yun came back first and Mineo coming back after.

I don't think I've heard you be this nice before.
[ She smiles, teasing. ]

In Medb's defense, she's someone from the 1st Century. Not in her defense, she also knows what social media is. ]
Oh. Oh, no.
[ She puts a hand to her face. ]
Why did it take any of us this long to think of this?

sighs. he is so tired. ]
Well... we'll change that now. Better late than never.
[ HE IS SO TIRED. ]
no subject
It's a sign of progress.
[ That's said pretty cheerfully. She's not necessarily an optimistic person, but she prefers to be positive. ]

There's no point in hoping there won't be another murder.
no subject
At this point, it's a pattern. Almost like clockwork. A murder schedule. Isn't that funny?
[ She asks that like she knows he won't think it's funny. ]

It kind of just feels like we're just waiting until Friday comes, even when we're supposed to be focusing on indulging...

[ Talk of what to investigate, trial, execution. ]
But I don't want to let it be something that rules our time here.

I don't know. You seem like you're going to devote yourself to solving all the murders.
no subject
It's annoying to not figure them out.
no subject
It is, isn't it? Someone's bound to slip up sometime. None of these are perfect crimes.
[ It's just... toblerones and crassants. Boggling. ]

[ the toblerone spiral... ]

[ A little order...
Even though Medb doesn't care too much about order, it'd still be neat. ]
no subject
It would be nice if we aren't scrambling at the last second.
no subject
[ But what are the chances of that? ]
