[ It's after someone cursed the common room with cheese whiz.
All she wanted was to use the hot tub (again), but there's cheese everywhere and she's so angry that she stalks away from the common room in her rage. She doesn't care to hide how angry she is. It's her right as a queen to show her anger in whatever way she wants.
Wherever she crosses paths with Molly, she stops. ]
[ So the end of the trial was certainly something! She's not entirely blind or deaf to how much it affect Molly or how much it will affect him, so she's just here to see him.
Whenever he's taking a break outside the simulation room, she reaches for him. ]
[Molly's been avoiding people, mostly, but he's still wandering the halls attempting to keeping moving. Hiding doesn't seem to make it better. When he see Medb, he'll raise a hand, but, the eye contact is perhaps a little too long, too sudden--]
This bloody dirt road, the middle of fucking nowhere. Ice still shimmers off one of the carts - why hadn’t she fucking warned you that Lorenzo was a spell caster? - there’s shouts and screams and orders being barked through the air. You can’t see Nott. You can’t see Caleb, but you can hear someone yelling off, not too far away. What was her name? Keg? Is practically cowering, paralyzed with fear somewhere across the way.
You can see Beau, scrambling to? From? Somewhere. She’s going somewhere, but it isn’t-
Between you. a man. Lorenzo. You know his name. That he has your friends captured, somewhere. Somehow. You have to stop him, and,
It’s too fucking close is what it is. She’s bleeding too. You’re bleeding, the eye on your hand is dripping, making holding your sword a little difficult and you think
Fuck
There’s the brief flash of bright pain you always feel when you use the Maledict, that’s familiar, but this time it digs a little too deep, it cuts too far and you’re on your ass before you can tell what’s happening.
Lorenzo turns to you, readying that nasty looking glaive
You can feel -
Blood splatters out of your mouth with the impact.
You grip at the blade at the end of the weapon - the part that’s not stuck eight inches deep in your chest - uselessly. the blood on your hands making it slick, the eye bleeding, and bleeding and bleeding—
It doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t hurt, is the thing you think to yourself, blade in your chest, back on the ground, looking up at this man - his boot on your stomach now, except of course. It hurts. You gasp for air, but there’s only more blood.
“An example it is.”
He looks down at you, leaning in close - as his hand tightens on the grip of his weapon it begins to twist. Excruciating pain. You’re dead. You’re dead and your brain, your heart, your betrayer of a body hasn’t quite caught the message yet.
Your mouth fills with blood again and you spit in his face. It hits with a splatter and he turns, only briefly, reaching up to touch it.
It’s cold today. It’s still morning, and it’s cold. snow is starting to fall. The man - Lorenzo - smirks down at you, wipes the blood from his face
“Respect.”
Then he twists the blade hard and you not so much hear as feel a crack.
molly does nothing but respect this because he does it to several people in his life on the regular, just immediately opening his arms to catch her as best he can
mind that his strength score is not high, though his dex is! he catches her handily!]
Hah!
[And then immediately loses his balance backwards and falls on his ass, still clutching her.]
standing by the sink, washing something off in it. hm. he'll turn, and his face is still fairly wrecked - the nose is obviously broken and bruising is obvious under his eyes, but, he's not bleeding from the mouth anymore! So that's good.]
[He'd been bullied back in so yes, so by the time Medb rolls up he's about 80% healed. Still a bit bruised on the face, his lungs are still a little crackly, but. He's fine.]
Mm. Alcohol smell at night, and-- Ah, cracked pods! The glass on them. This morning.
Say-- Would you mind. [He holds out both of his hands.]
[ She looks dandy! Well, she looks 75% better than when he whisked her away to the medbay, but at least she's healed to an extent and cleaned up. No more blood everywhere. Yay? ]
Hi, Molly!
[ Her greeting is cheerful because it's him, but she does nothing to hide how tired she is either. ]
[ Medb takes off her heels once she hits the beach. Her feelings are a little muted, but nothing seems to be standing out except for maybe a tinge of annoyance.
[Molly is just in one of the beach chairs, flopped out - coat slung over the back of the chair, tail swaying and holding a bottle of tequila up on his chest.
[ Medb doesn't see a reason to change out of her fancy casino heist dress, so she hasn't. There's a slight high even if Medb isn't completely worry-free yet.
She smiles brightly when she sees Molly, though. Beau is back, and isn't that wonderful? ]
